Registration Opens for Dubai Run 2026 with 5km and 10km Routes Available

Dubai Run 2026 registration is now open, offering 5km and 10km routes along Sheikh Zayed Road on November 22.

Registration Opens for Dubai Run 2026 with 5km and 10km Routes Available

Registration has commenced for Dubai Run 2026 through the Dubai Fitness Challenge website. The event will take place on November 22, transforming Sheikh Zayed Road into a running track where participants can choose to complete either a 5-kilometer or 10-kilometer route.

The run begins at 6:30 a.m., with staggered arrival times starting from 4 a.m. Participants must arrive within their designated time slots due to limited capacity for safety reasons. The start line will close at 8 a.m.

Route Details

  • 5km route: Designed for families and beginners, this route starts near the Museum of the Future on Sheikh Zayed Road, passes landmarks such as Burj Khalifa and Dubai Opera, and concludes near Dubai Mall.
  • 10km route: This longer course also begins near the Museum of the Future, crosses the Dubai Canal Bridge, loops along Sheikh Zayed Road, and finishes near the DIFC Gate.

Bib and T-shirt Collection

Participants must collect their bibs and T-shirts at the Dubai Municipality 30x30 Fitness Village in Zabeel Park between November 9 and 21. Collection hours are Monday to Thursday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m., Friday from noon to 11 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Others may collect bibs on behalf of participants if they present a valid registration QR code. Entry to the run is not permitted without a bib, and lost bibs require re-registration to obtain replacements.

Transportation and Parking

Participants driving to the event are advised to park at Dubai World Trade Centre car parks for the 10km route or Dubai Mall for the 5km route, then use the Dubai Metro to reach the start line. A Nol card with at least Dh15 balance is recommended to reduce waiting times.

  • For the 5km route, participants should use the World Trade Centre metro station.
  • For the 10km route, Emirates Towers metro station is recommended.

Taxis are also available with designated drop-off and pick-up points near the start lines. The bus and taxi service road at Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall Metro Station remains closed until the end of 2026, so alternative routes via Business Bay Metro are advised.

Additional Information

  • Dubai Run is not a competitive race; participants can complete their chosen route at their own pace.
  • Parents or legal guardians can register up to three children, but those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Large bags are prohibited; only essential personal items should be brought.
