UAE Lowers Petrol and Diesel Prices for November 2026
Fuel prices in the UAE will decrease across all categories starting November 1, reversing a three-month upward trend.
The United Arab Emirates has announced a reduction in fuel prices for November 2026, with all fuel types seeing lower rates compared to October. This adjustment ends a three-month period of rising prices.
The last time fuel prices dropped was in July, after four months of consecutive increases linked to tensions in the US-Iran conflict. The Ministry of Energy in the UAE sets monthly fuel prices based on the average global oil price plus operating costs for distribution companies.
Effective from November 1, the new prices per litre are as follows:
- Super 98 petrol: Dh4.16 (down from Dh4.40 in October)
- Special 95 petrol: Dh4.04 (down from Dh4.28)
- E-plus 91 petrol: Dh3.97 (down from Dh4.21)
- Diesel: Dh4.75 (down from Dh4.80)
Depending on the vehicle type, filling up a tank will cost between Dh12.24 and Dh17.76 less than last month.
Estimated fuel costs for full tanks by vehicle category are as follows:
- Compact cars (average tank capacity: 51 litres):
- Super 98: Dh212.16 (October: Dh224.40)
- Special 95: Dh206.04 (October: Dh218.28)
- E-plus 91: Dh202.47 (October: Dh214.71)
- Sedans (average tank capacity: 62 litres):
- Super 98: Dh257.92 (October: Dh272.80)
- Special 95: Dh250.48 (October: Dh265.36)
- E-plus 91: Dh246.14 (October: Dh261.02)
- SUVs (average tank capacity: 74 litres):
- Super 98: Dh307.84 (October: Dh325.60)
- Special 95: Dh298.96 (October: Dh316.72)
- E-plus 91: Dh293.78 (October: Dh311.54)
Fuel price fluctuations directly impact household expenses in the UAE, as many families regularly budget for vehicle fuel. Even minor increases can accumulate over time, affecting monthly spending.
Fuel prices reached record highs in 2022 amid the Russia-Ukraine conflict, with rates exceeding Dh4 per litre for the first time.
