Global Village Season 31 Launches with 40,000 Shows and New Attractions

Dubai's Global Village is set to open its 31st season on Wednesday, October 14, at 6pm, offering visitors a wide array of new experiences, attractions, and dining options. Operating hours will be from 4pm to midnight Sunday through Wednesday, and from 4pm to 1am on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and public holidays.

Expanded Cultural Pavilions and Shopping

This season features 29 pavilions showcasing more than 90 cultures, including new additions and expansions. The Sri Lankan pavilion will debut as a standalone entity, having previously been part of the Bangladesh pavilion. The Russia pavilion will now also represent Azerbaijan. The Syria and Kuwait pavilions return with updated facades.

Visitors can explore over 3,500 shopping outlets offering a diverse range of cultural products and flavors. A new Season 31 Passport allows guests to collect stamps from each pavilion, complemented by a Kids Passport designed for younger visitors.

Enhanced Attractions and Entertainment

The Gardens of the World attraction returns with refreshed design elements, while several landmarks have been visually upgraded. The Cultural Gate will feature new LED lighting, and the Sharjah tunnel has been given a new theme.

More than 200 attractions will be available, including arcade games, family-friendly activities, and thrilling rides. The Carnaval area will showcase a redesigned Festival Wheel. Later in the season, a new roller coaster named Tokyo Rush will be introduced, featuring sharp turns, high speeds, and a loop.

Popular attractions from the previous season such as The Dragon Kingdom, The Horror Hotel, Secrets of the Lost City, and Exo Planet City will also return.

Extensive Live Shows and Dining Options

Season 31 will present around 40,000 live shows. New performances include Fast Live 2: The Police Strikes Back, an action stunt show, and two anchor productions: Bollywood Idol, a musical drama about two brothers, and Bank Heist, an acrobatic true-crime adventure. Returning shows include Slam, along with children’s favorites Care Bears and PJ Masks at the Kids Theatre.

Food offerings have expanded to over 250 dining options. New restaurants include Trabzon Turkish Restaurant, Robo Al Sham serving Levantine cuisine, Hawawshi Al Rabie specializing in Egyptian food, and Chicking for fried chicken. Additionally, three new cafés—Vinci Dolci, Emir Bey Gourmet, and Uzungol Café—have opened, and the Dessert District has been redesigned.

Improved Facilities and Services

To enhance visitor convenience, a new VIP Parking Self-Payment system has been introduced to alleviate traffic congestion. Family-friendly amenities have been expanded with additional Family POD Washrooms. Arrival and parking experiences have been improved through better directional signage and more ticket counters at Happiness Gate. New bilingual signage in Arabic and English has been installed at the Gate of the World.

Global Village has also launched a WhatsApp Chatbot to provide guests with immediate access to information and support via mobile devices.
