Ellington and Al Hamra Launch Dh2.8 Billion Berkeley Tower in Business Bay

Ellington Properties, a prominent Dubai-based real estate developer, in collaboration with Al Hamra, has announced the launch of Berkeley Tower, a commercial tower in Business Bay valued at Dh2.8 billion. This project marks Ellington's largest and tallest commercial development to date.

Berkeley Tower rises over 60 floors and is designed as a Grade A office building incorporating advanced smart technologies. The tower aims to meet the evolving needs of businesses by offering a wide range of office spaces alongside lifestyle and wellness amenities.

Key features of the tower include robotic parking systems and double-decker elevators equipped with destination control technology, enhancing the efficiency of movement within the building. Additionally, five floors are dedicated to amenities such as business lounges, meeting rooms, fitness and wellness centers, outdoor terraces, event spaces, a clubhouse, and interactive gaming areas.

Strategically located in Business Bay, Berkeley Tower provides direct connectivity to Downtown Dubai, the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), and major transport networks, positioning it within one of Dubai’s most established commercial hubs.

Joseph Thomas, co-founder of Ellington Properties, described Berkeley Tower as a significant milestone for the company’s commercial portfolio, emphasizing the importance of evolving workplace environments that extend beyond traditional office spaces. He highlighted that the project represents a new scale of ambition for Ellington in the commercial real estate sector.

Benoy J Kurien, group CEO of Al Hamra, noted that Dubai’s growing status as a global business center fuels demand for high-quality commercial developments in well-connected areas. He stated that the partnership between Al Hamra and Ellington Properties leverages their combined strengths to support Business Bay's growth and create value for the community, businesses, and investors.

Berkeley Tower stands as a flagship project for Ellington Properties, reflecting the company’s strategic direction in expanding its commercial real estate portfolio.
