Event Details and Highlights

The 45th edition of the Sharjah International Book Fair will take place from November 4 to 15 at Expo Centre Sharjah. This year’s theme is "Made of Stories," and Oman will be featured as the Guest of Honour.

According to the Sharjah Book Authority, the fair will host 2,673 publishers and exhibitors representing 124 countries. The programme includes approximately 1,500 cultural and artistic events.

Attendees can participate in a variety of activities including literary discussions, workshops for children, theatrical performances, and live cooking demonstrations.

Among the new attractions is the Poets’ Corner, where visitors’ personal stories will be transformed into poems in both Arabic and English. Another addition is the Future Hands District, an interactive area designed to introduce children to various professions.

The event will also feature 106 writers, artists, and intellectuals from 25 countries, offering a diverse cultural experience throughout the fair.
