Three UAE Expats and Omani Businessman Win Gold Bars in Big Ticket Draw

In the final weekly electronic draw of October for Big Ticket Abu Dhabi, three expatriates living in the UAE and a businessman from Oman each won a 24-karat gold bar. The draw is part of the ongoing Big Ticket raffle, which will announce its grand prize winner of Dh25 million on November 3 during a live show hosted by Richard and Bouchra.

Alongside the grand prize announcement, five consolation prize winners will each receive Dh100,000. Throughout November, Big Ticket will continue hosting weekly e-draws where four winners per draw will be awarded Dh25,000 each.

October Weekly Draw Winners

• Anish Raveendradas, a 44-year-old advertising professional originally from Kerala, India, has lived in Dubai for 18 years. Anish regularly participates in Big Ticket with a group of ten friends. Their winning ticket was selected by one friend based on his eldest son's birth date. The group received additional tickets through a promotional offer. Anish stated that he plans to sell the gold bar and share the proceeds equally with his friends, using his share to pay off a housing loan in India.
• Muhammed Ashraf Mundakai Samsu, a 38-year-old school bus driver from Kerala residing in Sharjah for 14 years, has been entering Big Ticket for three years with six friends. Their winning ticket was chosen at random. Muhammed expressed joy about sharing the win with his friends and said they intend to divide the prize money among themselves.
• Rajesh Gopalan, a 52-year-old supervisor from Kerala and a Ras Al Khaimah resident for over 30 years, purchased his first Big Ticket entry recently after hearing about it from colleagues and social media. His wife selected the winning ticket number. Rajesh plans to share the prize with his cousin, who bought the ticket with him, and described his win as a surprising and joyful experience.
• Yousuf Hamed Mohammed Al Naabi, a 49-year-old businessman from Oman, has been participating in Big Ticket for five to six years, frequently buying 10 to 15 tickets when traveling. His winning ticket was randomly selected. Yousuf expressed happiness about the win and is considering how to use his prize while planning to continue participating in the raffle.
