Dubai Launches National Month Celebrations from November 3 to December 2

Dubai is set to begin its National Month celebrations on November 3, with festivities continuing until December 2. The events are organised by Brand Dubai, the creative division of the Government of Dubai Media Office, in partnership with government, semi-government, and private sector organisations.

The programme aims to showcase the UAE’s national identity, heritage, and achievements through a variety of events and activities. It will pay tribute to the UAE’s Founding Fathers and acknowledge the ongoing efforts of the country's leadership in driving development and shaping the future.

National Month provides an opportunity for citizens, residents, and visitors to demonstrate their loyalty and appreciation for the values that define the nation. The initiative was launched by Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council.

Creative Celebrations Reflecting National Pride

Shaima Al Suwaidi, Director of Brand Dubai, explained that the events will reflect the UAE’s history, identity, and values through creative expressions that emphasize societal unity and future aspirations. She noted the collaboration with various partners to ensure the celebrations offer meaningful opportunities for people to express their pride in the nation’s journey.

Key activities include UAE Flag Day celebrations, the Eid Al Etihad festivities, the Flag Garden, the UAE Parade, and the 'Stories of Our Determination' short film competition. This competition, launched by the Dubai Films and Games Commission under the Dubai Media Council, invites creative talents to share narratives centered on unity and determination. Additional events organized with various entities will be announced throughout the month.

Wide-Ranging Participation Across Dubai

Government, semi-government, and private sector organisations across Dubai will host events to mark the UAE’s 55th Eid Al Etihad during National Month. These activities aim to engage employees, visitors, and the wider community, fostering a spirit of national pride and unity.

Brand Dubai will coordinate its own initiatives alongside those of participating entities to ensure a cohesive programme that reflects the importance of Eid Al Etihad. Details regarding specific events, including dates and venues, will be shared progressively during the celebration period.
