FTA Reminds UAE Companies to Submit Corporate Tax Returns by September 30, 2026
The Federal Tax Authority urges UAE corporate taxpayers to file returns and pay dues before the September 30 deadline.
The Federal Tax Authority (FTA) has issued a reminder to all corporate taxpayers in the UAE to submit their tax returns and settle any outstanding corporate tax within the established deadlines.
Companies whose financial year ended on December 31, 2025, including those qualifying for Small Business Relief, must complete their filings and payments through the EmaraTax platform by September 30, 2026. This deadline reflects the requirement to file and pay within nine months of the end of the tax period.
The FTA also emphasized that exempt persons who are registered for corporate tax purposes are obligated to submit their annual declarations within the same nine-month timeframe. Failure to comply with these deadlines may result in administrative penalties for late submission or payment.
