Dubai's FlexiRent Scheme Offers Monthly Rent Payment Options for Eligible Tenants
Dubai's FlexiRent initiative allows selected tenants to pay rent monthly, depending on property eligibility and landlord participation.
Dubai has introduced the FlexiRent program, providing tenants with more flexible rent payment options, including monthly instalments and grace periods. This initiative aims to ease the financial burden of large upfront rental payments.
However, not all tenants are automatically eligible to switch from traditional payment methods, such as one or four cheques, to monthly rent payments. Participation in the FlexiRent scheme is voluntary for real estate companies, which determine the eligibility of their properties and the specific payment plans or incentives available.
The Dubai Land Department (DLD) launched FlexiRent to support tenants by offering greater payment flexibility while assisting property owners in boosting occupancy rates, minimizing payment delays, and attracting long-term renters.
