Dh13 Million G-Wagon with 3kg Diamond Dust Showcased in Abu Dhabi

At the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (Adihex), a Dh13 million Mercedes G-Wagon featuring 3 kilograms of diamond dust and gold-plated accents was unveiled, drawing significant attention.

The vehicle, named the Carlex One of One Stallion, is a one-of-a-kind creation by Polish luxury car customizer Carlex. Inspired by the Arabian horse, the design follows the company's earlier Falcon model, another exclusive collector's vehicle. According to Constantinos Zertalis, CEO of Carlex's Mena division, the Stallion is unique and will never be replicated.

The standout feature of the car is its intricately crafted roof, which is not merely painted but sculpted using a specialized engraving technique. The finishing process includes seven layers of hand-brushing and seven layers of diamond dust, applied through a patented method developed by Carlex. This technique gives the roof a dynamic appearance that changes with the light and a textured, hammered effect.

Additional luxury elements include gold-plated details and a cabin outfitted with premium leather and handcrafted components that continue the Arabian horse theme. The production of the Stallion takes approximately six months, with over 3,000 hours dedicated solely to the roof's craftsmanship.

Alongside the Stallion, Carlex also presented a Dh4.7 million safari-themed G-Wagon featuring Italian leather, crocodile skin accents, and a custom interior designed for desert expeditions. Both vehicles were displayed amid traditional hunting and equestrian exhibits such as falcons, Arabian horses, and hunting rifles.
