UAE Lottery Awards Dh5 Million to Third Major Winner in Recent Draw
A UAE Lottery participant won Dh5 million by matching six numbers, alongside multiple smaller prize winners in the latest draw.
The UAE Lottery recently announced its latest Lucky Day Draw results, revealing a participant who secured the second prize of Dh5 million by correctly matching all six Day numbers. This marks the third time a player has won Dh5 million since the lottery's revised format began.
The winning numbers for Draw No. 260815, held on August 15, were 18, 9, 5, 27, 21, and 3 in the Days section, with the Month section number being 10.
In addition to the grand prize winner, three participants claimed Dh50,000 each through the Lucky Chance raffle. Their winning IDs were BM3780456, CY7520598, and CP6699035, collectively receiving Dh150,000.
Overall, 5,479 people won various prizes in the draw. Among these, three individuals won Dh100,000 each, 82 players received Dh1,000 each, and the remainder were awarded Dh100.
The Lucky Day Draws take place every Wednesday and Saturday at 9:30 pm, offering participants a chance to win the Dh30-million grand prize by matching all seven numbers. The draw also awards a Dh5-million second prize for matching all six numbers in the Days section, and a Dh100,000 prize for those matching five numbers in the Days section plus the Month number. Each draw guarantees three Lucky Chance winners, each receiving Dh50,000.
The UAE Lottery is regulated by the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA) and emphasizes responsible gaming for all participants.
Previous Winners and Participant Experiences
The prior draw on August 12 saw 5,887 winners, including one who took home Dh100,000 for matching five Day numbers and the Month number.
Since the revised format launched in April 2026, two grand prize winners have been crowned: a Nepalese resident based in Abu Dhabi and a 52-year-old Indian expatriate, who won within five weeks of each other.
During a live broadcast, Raquel Sawyer, a UAE resident for 17 years, expressed gratitude after winning Dh100,000 in a previous draw. She noted the prize was a significant help and planned to use it for her daughter's education.
Nepalese expatriate Sagar Karki, living in the UAE for four years, won Dh50,000 in the Lucky Day draw and encouraged others to remain hopeful about their chances of winning.
