UAE Weather Forecast: Rain Expected with Temperatures Up to 48°C
Light rain is forecast in parts of the UAE with temperatures reaching as high as 48°C in some areas.
The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has predicted light rainfall in certain areas of the UAE on Sunday, August 16. Weather conditions are expected to be partly cloudy to cloudy across some northern and eastern regions.
Temperatures will remain elevated, with some locations reaching up to 48°C. Dubai is forecast to experience a high of 42°C, while Abu Dhabi could see temperatures rise to 45°C.
Humidity levels are expected to increase overnight and into Monday morning along some western coastal areas, where there is also a chance of mist formation.
Winds will generally be light to moderate, blowing from the southeast to northeast at speeds between 10 and 20 km/h, though they may increase to as much as 30 km/h.
Sea conditions are expected to be slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
